Three years after the premiere of the action movie Nobody starring Bob Odenkirk, preparations for the sequel have finally begun. This is evidenced by a new statement from the producers – the duo even suggested when the filming period will be scheduled.
“Nobody” with Bob Odenkirk will get a sequel!
The original Nobody film was well received by audiences and critics. While it initially seemed like continuing the project remained a priority for the studio, it was almost two years before producer David Leitch was able to reassure fans that Nobody 2 was still in development.
The director then said that work was underway on the script for the second part, but it was too early to talk about a release date.
The latest news about Nobody 2 suggests that, despite the passing of several years, the project is still in the plans and will actually come to fruition.
This information came to light thanks to Leitch and co-producer Kelly McCormick. From an interview with the creators, it became known that although the film’s script has not yet been completed, Universal Pictures has already included filming in its schedule for this year.
There will also be Wild Night 2 with David Harbour
The Nobody 2 crew will arrive on set later this year, Leitch said. In parallel with the filming of the film with Odenkirk, he will also supervise the preparation of the second part of the comedy thriller “Violent Night” with David Harbour.
Filming for “Violent Night” is scheduled to begin in early 2025. It should be recalled that the second Nobody film does not necessarily have to continue the story of the first. There is an option – to create a prequel that can tell viewers about the mysterious activities of the main character – this option was proposed in recent years by director Ilya Naishuller.
