Filming for the final season of the popular TV series Stranger Things has already continued for three months. The final episodes will be delayed, but fans are getting a nice behind-the-scenes look thanks to behind-the-scenes photos released by Netflix. One of them features Max, a character who will go through a lot in the final episodes of the fourth season.
Filming for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things began earlier this year after a months-long delay. Production was originally scheduled to begin in June of the previous year, but due to the writers’ strike and cast protests, this proved impossible.
If there had not been a delay, filming would probably have already completed or was nearing completion. Instead, we are only in the third month of the process.
Filming for the final episodes is expected to take approximately six months and wrap up in June-July.
Thus, the premiere of the fifth season of Stranger Things is not expected until the summer of 2025. Once filming is complete, the makers will be busy with post-production for several months.

One of the key questions of the new season is the fate of Max. Fans were concerned about her absence from the Atlanta set, but new photos have confirmed that actress Sadie Sink is present in the project.
In the final moments of season four, Max fell victim to Vecna, but was brought back to life by Eleven. Max’s fate remains unclear, as she is in a coma and has likely lost her sight.
The creators denied rumors of her death and confirmed the heroine’s participation in the fifth season. They posted photos of the actress and Caleb McLaughlin, who plays Lucas, noting that one of them does not show Max, but the actress Sadie Sink herself.
The photograph does not provide precise answers to the question of her awakening, but next to the bed there is an old tape recorder with a cassette of the album “Hounds of Love” by Kate Bush. It is this album that opens with the famous song “Running Up That Hill”, which saved Max from death at the hands of Vecna several times.
