The second season of the comedy series Extraordinary will premiere on March 6, 2024 on Hulu in the US and Disney+ worldwide.
The superhero comedy series follows Jen, a young adult who hasn’t developed powers in a universe where everyone gets superpowers at 18.
Extraordinary season 2 Story
The narrative unfolds with a young woman in a fantasy realm where individuals gain supernatural abilities upon reaching the age of eighteen. Unfortunately, Jen, who is now twenty-five, finds herself without any extraordinary powers, making her entirely ordinary in a world filled with the extraordinary.
She works a job she dislikes, faces challenges in her personal life, and harbors jealousy toward her stepsister. In contrast, her best friend possesses the ability to communicate with the deceased, and a guy named Cash has control over time. Jen grapples with a sense of failure, struggling to comprehend her purpose in a world where everyone else seems to possess unique and remarkable abilities.
In Season 2 of the show, the storyline picks up immediately after the intense conclusion of Season 1. Jen, portrayed by Tyers, is at the clinic, grappling with the complexities of her newfound abilities. Balancing her life inside the clinic with the challenges she faces outside proves to be more difficult than she anticipated. Simultaneously, her boyfriend Jizzlord, played by Rollason, makes a startling discovery about his past.
Additionally, Kash (Hasna) and Carrie (Oxenham), who are dealing with their breakup, attempt to navigate the challenges of living together post-separation. The characters now confront a series of new adult challenges and chaotic situations, unprepared for what lies ahead.
