After more than a year and a half, Bridgerton returns to screens with season 3, which will be released in May 2024.
Only this time things might be a little more complicated, as Bridgerton season three focuses on the romance between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
The third season will be divided into 2 parts. Find out when to expect a new season of your favorite story and watch the new trailer.
Bridgerton Season 3 Story
While the first two seasons of the series closely followed Julia Quinn’s book timeline, Netflix has confirmed a deviation for Season 3. Despite the initial plan to cover each book, Season 3 will skip the third book, “An Offer From a Gentleman”, which delves into Benedict’s quest for love. Instead, the season will jump to book 4, “Romancing Mister Bridgerton” focusing on the storyline of Penelope and Colin.
In this upcoming season, fan-favorite Penelope has decided it’s time to find a husband, but things don’t seem to go smoothly. Additionally, Colin returns to The Ton from his travels with a new look, promising intriguing developments for the characters.
